Software that makes your business work for you.
I’m Ben Barnes, a developer working out of Utah. I find the hours your business loses to copy-and-paste work, missed calls, and jobs that fall through the cracks, then I build the software that takes them back. Wherever you are, you get me on the call. Starts at $500.
The work
See the work before you hire me.
The builds in the portfolio are live on their own domains. Click one and you land on the working site a customer would see.
See the portfolio- Live sites on their own domains.
- Built one at a time, for one business.
- I still look after them months later.
Services
Build it. Automate it. Keep it running.
I build the software that gives a small business its week back, at a price a small business can say yes to. Most owners can't tell me which of these they need on the first call, and working that out is my end of the job. Start with a free hour.
Websites & custom software
The site that brings customers in, and the software behind it that handles them once they arrive.
- Starts at $500
- Client portals, quoting tools, scheduling, dashboards
- Loads fast and reads well on a phone
- You work with me from the first call to the last
Automation & getting found
Stop retyping the same job into three systems, and start showing up when your town searches.
- Your tools connected so nothing gets typed twice
- Missed calls answered, follow-ups sent on their own
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile setup
- Setup from $500, monthly after that is your call
Keeping it running
Software needs looking after. I handle that part so you can forget it exists.
- Care plans start at $50/month
- Hosting, backups, security and monitoring
- Edits and content updates handled for you
- One person to call at nine on a Saturday
What I believe
Technology should work for the people paying for it.
I have wanted to help people find success and get to it for as long as I can remember. Software turned out to be how I do that. Software development changed forever over the last few years, and custom tools that used to cost six figures are now within reach of a two-person shop. Somebody has to build those for the shops that need them, and I would rather it be me than nobody.
Your software should do the boring work.
No more copying the same job details into three systems. No more missed calls that nobody follows up. No more Sunday nights spent building the invoice you already built last month. If a computer can do that work, you should not be spending your evening on it.
Fully custom, priced the right way.
A three-person crew gets the same database design, the same security, and the same care as a company with a hundred engineers. Custom does not have to mean expensive anymore, and I price it so a small business can say yes.
I stay after the handoff.
I am not the kid who hands you some technology and disappears. I check in, I answer when you call six months later, and if you are close enough I turn up in person. Call it the relationship with technology you have never had and always wanted.
